Argon receiver

Argon receivers are used in vacuum electronics, metallurgy, metalworking, electric welding, in the production of high-precision instruments and microcircuits, as well as in industrial processes where it is necessary to create a completely inert atmosphere. This wide application is due to the fact that argon is a widely available, accessible, and relatively inexpensive gas obtained by separating air into oxygen and nitrogen.
Since argon is a cryogenic gas, its storage requires special vessels that provide the necessary parameters for safe operation.
Manufacturing of argon air receivers at the Saratov Tank Plant
The Saratov Tank Plant has all the necessary certificates of conformity for manufacturing air receivers and gas receivers.
For production, only high-strength materials are used that do not react chemically with the working medium. The following steel grades are applied:
- low-alloy structural steel 09G2S
- titanium-containing stainless steel 12Х18Н10Т (austenitic class)
- corrosion-resistant steel 10Х17Н13М2Т
This equipment is manufactured from sheet metal, which is formed into an all-welded cylindrical body. The design includes openings for manholes and nozzles used for inspection, removal of deposits, gas filling, and further supply into the технологical line.
To protect the internal and external surfaces from the effects of the working environment and climatic factors, the walls and bottoms are coated with special anti-corrosion compounds, significantly extending the service life of the equipment. The color of the external coating is selected according to the customer's requirements.
The quality of the products is confirmed by certificates of conformity and testing for tightness and strength under increased pressure. All testing is carried out in the plant’s own laboratory.
